A smile that can light up a room,
A laugh that makes fears flee,
A kind word that will touch someone's heart.
This is what you mean to me.

You have provided so much joy
When I feel like I want to fall.
When my walls feel like they are tumbling,
You help me see past it all.

You quietly reach out your hand
And help me to my feet
While there are others all around
Telling me to admit defeat.

The kindness you bestow,
The joy that you freely share
The example that you provide
Makes me glad you are there.

The friendship you have provided
I am grateful with all my soul.
You have blessed me to see
The way out of my hole.

Thank you for being yourself
And helping me to grow
You are one of the most
Beautiful people I will ever know.

Snowflakes slowly flutter down
Like silent ghosts in the night
Blanketing a sleeping world
In a dazzling array of white.
Not a whisper rides on the air
As the spell is gently woven,
And steals away the shadows of the night
As the sun slowly makes the air Golden.
Twinkling diamonds blanket the ground
The world is pure for a moment.
Dressed in her mantle of white
Purely covered by the snow
That gently fell in the night.
Laying there on the ground,
No longer able to take flight
Not one snowflake is the same
Yet they didn't put up a fight.
They allow themselves to melt.
To become nothing we can see
Slowly disappearing off the world
And becoming nothing more than a memory.
Until the time comes again
When silently in the night
The earth becomes blanketed again
In her purest mantel of white.
Take a moment and stop
To look out at the snow.
It is a gift to all of us.
Feel the warmth of heavens glow.

I Will Be There

No matter how hard the wind blows
Or how bad things may get;
No matter how deep you sink
Or how you may feel like you can't go on
No matter how dark the days may be
Or how cold the night feels;
No matter how many seem to be against you
And your back is up against the will
I will still be there for you.
If it seems like all there is now
Is heartache and pain,
And that no one cares;
Look past the tears and the rain
And you will see
The one whose love is unfailing, unconditional, and real.
If you can't find your way out
And the darkness is pressing in,
Look for me.
I will be there every step of the way.
If it seems like no one is there
To listen and to care,
Call me.
No matter what I will stop
And be there for you no matter what.
For one SIMPLE reason.
Because I care.

Dwelling

Things happen in our lives that make us stop and think
And wonder what we did to make everything stink
Sometimes it's not things that we have done at all.
So when things get pear shaped,
And you want to sit and bawl
Just remember you're never alone
And not everything is your fault.
So while we spend a lot of our lives dwelling
On what we did in our past
The future dawns bright and promising
And the dwelling should not last.
Let the dwelling go, let it be where it belongs.
Let yourself go forward. That's when you become strong.

The future is waiting.
Don't dwell on the future,
The past won't exist.
Live for Today.

Tons going on, new one soon

I feel like I am always saying another will be up soon, but I promise it will. I need to get my notebook out and type it up is all. I need to find it is another. Laughs. That's always how it is right?
